Services we offer:
Mental Health Counseling
At Bright Futures, our goal is to provide a warm, safe environment where children and teens feel comfortable exploring the many challenges and obstacles they are facing while learning how to be their most authentic selves. We collaborate closely with parents and schools to deliver comprehensive services that cater to their unique needs. Our individualized approach ensures that your child feels understood and valued while learning the strategies they need to succeed. Learn more here.
Speech and Language Therapy
Bright Futures Therapeutic Services is a dedicated provider of exceptional Speech and Language assessment and treatment for children ages 2-18. Our evidence-based interventions address various speech and communication disorders, such as articulation and phonological disorders, vocabulary weaknesses, comprehension difficulties, and social pragmatic disorders. We also work with children that are non-speaking and use augmentative and alternative communication systems (AAC). Our approach to treatment is child-centered and neuroaffirming. Learn more here.
Behavorial Consultation
At Bright Futures Therapeutic Services, LLC, we provide compassionate and effective Behavioral Consultation services to support families facing challenges with their child's behavior. We believe that a child who is displaying challenging behaviors is trying to communicate discomfort or an unmet need. If you are struggling to know how to best support your child, or your child is at risk of being removed from daycare or school due to their behavior, we encourage you to reach out and schedule a consultation today. Learn more here.
Independent Educational Evaluations
An Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) is a valuable assessment conducted by a specialist unaffiliated with your family or your child's school district. It offers an opportunity to gain additional information or a second opinion on your child's challenges, covering academic, emotional, behavioral, social, and communication domains. Seeking an IEE is particularly important when you suspect a school-based evaluation may not accurately reflect your child's strengths and weaknesses. Learn more here.
Educational Consulting
Whether you're just beginning to consider requesting an Individualized Education Program (IEP) or you've already made the request and want to ensure the accommodations will truly benefit your child, our educational consultant, Vicki Koller, is here to support you every step. Vicki can assist you in reviewing school records and outside evaluations to determine the most effective course of action. Learn more here.
