Meet Vicki
Hello! My name is Vicki Koller, and I am excited to be an Educational Consultant for Bright Futures Therapeutic Services, LLC. I am dedicated to transforming learning experiences for students and empowering educators and caregivers.
I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from Cleveland State University and a Master's Degree in Special Education from Kent State University. In addition to my studies, I have completed specialized training in Life Space Crisis Intervention and components of Applied Behavior Analysis, including Functional Behavioral Analysis and Behavioral Intervention Plans. Currently, my focus has been IEP Development and Implementation.
I have over 34 years of experience in the field of education, where I have worked in both public and private schools. I have been an Intervention Specialist, Case Manager, and Educational Consultant in these roles. In addition to my work at Bright Futures, I am the Co-Director of Academic Services for a non-public chartered school for children with autism. My areas of expertise include curriculum development and design, instructional strategies and best practices, student assessment, data analysis, professional development for teachers, and leadership of a multidisciplinary team.
Beyond my professional endeavors, I am an avid reader of historical fiction. I enjoy gardening, walking, traveling, and listening to music. I am a wife and mother of two children, and I enjoy country living with my family and two puppies.
I believe in a student-centered approach to education, fostering an environment that promotes critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity. I value each learner's unique strengths and needs and strive to create meaningful learning experiences.
